Offering residential and dementia friendly care for residents on a short-term or permanent basis, the staff at Ashmeadow’s take pride in a sensitive and person-centred approach.
The residents enjoy home-cooked food of their choice and a varied activity programme which includes reminiscence and life story work, quizzes, board games, musical activities, special themed events, art and crafts and a hairdressing service.
Ashmeadow’s is a small 16 bedroom care home that was formerly the vicarage, situated next to the local church.
Because Ashmeadow’s is a small home it means we have managed to create and maintain a very homely environment where everyone is known on a very individual basis.
At Ashmeadow’s all the staff are highly trained and very responsive to the individual needs of our residents.
Home cooked food is provided daily, with a range of different options and, where needed, all dietary requirements are met fully.
Stays of any duration are welcomed as well as daycare packages to suit individual needs.
For those not sure, or anxious, a short visit for a meal or the whole day can be provided to alleviate any worries about life at Ashmeadow’s.
