Emyvale House

Emyvale House is a delightful smaller sized residential home set in the heart of a quiet residential area of West Melton. Each room comes with its own en-suite bathroom and is personalised by the resident.

Friendly Care

Offering residential and dementia friendly care for residents on a short-term or permanent basis, the staff of Emyvale House take pride in a sensitive and person-centred approach.

The residents enjoy home-cooked food of their choice and a varied activity programme which includes reminiscence and life story work, quizzes, board games, musical activities, special themed events, art and crafts and a hairdressing service.

A Dementia Friendly Residential Care Home in the heart of the community in West Melton. Although in Rotherham, our home is only a stone’s throw from Barnsley and other links to Doncaster and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on being a small, attentive and dignified care home. We provide a safe, independent environment where every effort is made to create a loving home for all who choose to live here.

A real home from home setting and all the help you may need. All our rooms are en-suite and single occupancy. Although tastefully decorated and fully furnished, we encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their own items and furniture should they wish to do so. We have one double room for married couples. Fresh, home cooked food is prepared daily and all dietary needs are catered for.

We offer a high standard of care and our Manager, Ian Robinson, has worked in the care sector for over 30 years. He has a very caring nature as do all our team and they consistently strive to deliver excellent care, excellent training, following our motto of “you do not live in our home, we work in yours”.

We offer a 24-hour care service as well as day care and respite care. We welcome all visitors with open arms. Please call and see us and we’ll have the kettle on in no time!

In loving memory of Jean Reeve, we want to say a big thank you to Jeans family for kindly donating monies to our residents funds.
It is gratefully accepted and will be used to support activities within the home over the coming months 😊
